Our professionally decorated condo features 2 king master suites and a 3rd bedroom with 2 twin beds and 3 full baths. All bedrooms have new Beautyrest mattresses. Fully equipped kitchen has granite countertops and new stainless steel appliances. Cable TV and wireless high speed internet is available throughout the villa and powers 4 New Roku equipped TVs in the living room and each of the bedrooms. The wrap-around balcony is furnished with Teak furniture where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. This provides outdoor living space which is very private and a great place to read, eat a meal or take a nap in the ocean breeze.
Daufuskie Island is a place you can truly relax. The Island sits between Hilton Head Island and Tybee Island. Once there, you can explore the historical part of the island, visit local artisans or just enjoy the beautiful beach with the white sand.
You may want to rent a golf cart and ride and explore the history and many natural wonders. You might find one of the many local artisans or the school where Pat Conroy taught before he wrote the book THE WATER IS WIDE. Our very special church has services for everyone at 10am every Sunday.
There are a few restaurants on the Island, including the well-known Freeport Marina which has a small store and lovely view of the Intracoastal waterway. New to the island is D’Fuskies at the county dock, where you can grab a sandwich, a pizza, nightly specials, or a few necessities at the store. There is a farm market on Saturdays as well, selling local produce and seafood.
Transportation to the Island is by public ferry from Bluffton, SC or private water taxi. We recommend May River Excursions out of Bluffton, SC or Bull River Marina out of Savannah for private water taxi. Info on public ferry is at daufuskieislandferry.com
Golf cart rentals are reserved at ferry website. Transport to the condo from the dock can be provided by Daufuskie Transit.
