The Humble Abode is the perfect place for the whole family. With four bedrooms and two bathrooms, spacious living room, and fully equipped kitchen, you’ll have everything you need at this quiet house on the south side of Lacey. Brand new, central A/C and heating!
The Space
The Humble Abode provides a global feel in a less than touristy destination. My hope is that whether you are coming to visit family, a work trip, or to sight see in the PNW that my space provides a vacation feel right away.
There are four bedrooms. Master bedroom has a queen size bed, sitting area, walk-in closet, and large bathroom w/spacious shower. This room gets tons of natural light so it is the perfect space for those who like to wake up with sun. It is also located on the opposite side of the house from the other rooms providing a very private feel. The second room has a super comfortable king size bed, cute egg chair, and ample closet space. This room is located on the sunset side of the home and slowly, but dimly lights up naturally in the am. Third bedroom has a very soft queen size bed and room darkening curtains. Perfect pick for someone who wants to sleep in a bit. The fourth room has a full size bed with twin trundle. This room also has room darkening curtains. Perfect for those kiddos coming in from a different time zone or the baby who needs a darker room to nap! The space is intentionally left minimal to have room for the trundle and stay safe for the littles.
Second bath is located in hall with the three bedrooms. This bathroom has a nice bathtub, stool for the kiddos to reach the sink, and hair dryer. Both bathrooms have towels, hand cloths, and wash cloths. Showers have shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.
The living room has ample seating, a cozy couch, and good natural lighting on the not so gray days. With an electric fireplace and 68 inch tv, it's the perfect spot to curl up and watch a movie. You'll find games and puzzles in the cupboard to right of the tv.
The kitchen is equipped with most of things you would need. As someone who has spent a lot of times in airbnbs, I am always most let down by the lack of things available to me in a kitchen. I.e never having a decent blender, no spices, not enough dishes. I have tried my best to make sure you have all the basics, and then some. There is a full coffee bar; coffee, creamer, sweetener, teas. You will also find things for a wine night or a little cocktail mixing.
Dining room seats six people. Seats are nice and large, with plenty of space in between so no need to be elbowing your neighbor while you eat. Island can seat two more. Highchair is available.
Free parking is available. 4 cars can easily fit.
Wifi available throughout the home.
Backyard is very large with lots of space for kids to play!
