Hidden Owl is a log-sided home built around one thing you can't fake: privacy. Set back on 2.3 wooded acres in Masthope Mountain Community, it's a genuine retreat—the kind of place where the loudest sound is the wind in the trees.
Step inside to an open-concept kitchen, living, and dining area filled with natural light beneath soaring vaulted ceilings. The showpiece is the oversized sunroom, wrapped in panoramic forest views and warmed by a see-through stone fireplace that glows into the living space on both sides. Just off the main level, a screened porch is the spot for morning coffee or a quiet evening as the woods settle in.
A main-level king bedroom with its own ensuite bath means you don't have to climb stairs to settle in. And bring the whole family—furry members included. Hidden Owl is pet-friendly, so your dog is welcome to enjoy the woods right alongside you.
Downstairs is where the fun lives. The finished lower level is a true game room: a full-size pool table, shuffleboard, an arcade basketball shooter, and a Big Buck Hunter arcade cabinet—plus a wet bar for the grown-ups and two more bedrooms. Rainy afternoon or après-ski, this is the room everyone ends up in. It's built to keep groups of all ages entertained without anyone having to leave the house.

This home's magic is how private and tucked-away it is. That also means two things worth planning for. First, a car is a must—the nearest shops are a short drive, and the pool and beach are a quick drive within the community, not out your front door. Second, the driveway is steep: an SUV is required year-round, and 4WD/AWD is mandatory in winter. In clear, snow- and ice-free weather a standard car is fine. We'd always rather you arrive prepared than caught off guard.
