Otter Cove welcomes guests into a spacious great room with cathedral ceilings, charming wood beams and rustic accents that immediately set the stage for a relaxing, idyllic Northwoods vacation. The Kitchen is perfectly appointed to dine in, cook out and enjoy evening cocktails around the kitchen island. Cozy up around the wood-burning fireplace and indulge in stories of the days’ adventures as you watch the night stars appear through the floor-to-ceiling windows throughout the space.
Otter Cove has three spacious levels so the entire family can spread out and enjoy some privacy during their stay. The main level features three bedrooms, a bunk room with two twin bunk beds, and two rooms, Moose Meadow and Deer Haven with queen beds, natural light and cathedral ceilings. The upper level has a cozy reading loft that leads into the owner suite, a breathtaking space with an ensuite bath and private balcony. The owner suite has a king bed and a twin bed, just in case you need to keep your little ones close. Two additional bedrooms are located on the lower level, with quiet spaces for deep sleepers!
Otter Cove’s lower level provides another massive living area with a fireplace, cozy seating and an air hockey table. Walk out to the patio and lake front to enjoy dinner under the stars and roasted marshmallows around the firepit. Two private piers provide space to dock your boat or reel in a catch of crappy, blue gill or bass. Head up to the wrap around deck to watch eagles flying overhead or end your day of adventuring on the screen porch enjoying the crisp, pine scented breeze.
Otter Cove is located on the East shore of Long Lake, one of 28 lakes in the Eagle River & Three Lakes Chain. Take in amazing sunsets from the house or explore the chain by boat or kayak. In the winter season, the snowmobile trail is just steps away with over 1000+ groomed miles of trails to explore. Hiking trails are abundant through the Headwaters Wilderness and Chequamegon National Forest, both just a short drive from the house.
