Travel Purpose: business

Positive: We booked Joe’s place last-minute while our home was under renovation, and he was incredibly flexible and accommodating — even letting us extend our stay by an extra night without any hassle. His warm welcome, including a handwritten note on the whiteboard, was a nice touch. The house was clean and generally comfortable, with decent beds and reliable internet that worked well for working from home. Having a separate office space was definitely a plus for privacy. The location in San Tan was conveniently close to Walmart, Home Depot, Starbucks, and several restaurants. Overall, this stay worked well for our situation, and we appreciated Joe’s hospitality and responsiveness throughout.

Negative: On the practical side, the kitchen was minimally stocked (it was missing large bowls for salad, mixing something, etc.), so cooking full meals was a little tough, but some basic ingredients were there and would be helpful to someone showing up without any groceries. The carpet was pretty worn, but everything else was tidy and functional.

Summary: A comfortable stay with a welcoming host who went above and beyond to accommodate us.
