Simple Pleasures cabin rental in the Wood’s Golf Resort is precisely that, a simple pleasure. The Cabin is immersed in scenery, nature, and wildlife of the wild and wonderful mountains of WV. Tucked along side the Sleepy Creek Wildlife Management area, Simple Pleasures is the perfect escape to enjoy the hiking, fishing and bird-watching in the eastern panhandle near Berkeley Springs, WV. Simple Pleasures cabin features a double-deck with fire table and numerous bird feeders to enjoy the wildlife within the woods behind. We are a Certified Wildlife Habitat area and enjoy being able to share the peace and tranquility nature provides at our cabin rental.
Simple Pleasures is a 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom cabin located within the Woods Resort Area in Hedgesville, WV. We are a pet-friendly cabin.
The master bedroom located in the upstairs loft boast a king size Tempur-Pedic mattress; there is a Smart TV and office area with wonderful views of the wooded backyard. The other two bedrooms are located on the main floor with the bathroom. The bedroom on the left will feature two twin beds with Tempur-Pedic mattresses, new bedspreads and black out curtains, while the bedroom on the right will feature full size bed, black out curtains and plenty of closet space.
As you enter Simple Pleasures cabin you will be greeted with a warm and inviting feel from the open living space and carefully curated home. The kitchen, dining room and living room all open up into each other helping to create an atmosphere allowing you to enjoy one another’s company. The living room features a wood-burning fireplace, flat screen TV, and big glass sliders that open up to the deck.
The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking and eating utensils as well as your basic kitchen needs. Please note this cabin rental does not have a dishwasher.
The dining room has a small dining table with the capability of opening up to a larger table with enough room for 6 guests. The dining room also has glass sliders that open up into the three seasons room.
Simple Pleasures features a versatile three seasons room that overlooks both the wooded backyard as well as the front yard and views towards Sleepy Creek. In this comfortable space you will be able to enjoy the birds or the stars with a telescope provided. The room also features a small space heater, as well as a flat screen TV.
Simple Pleasures has a double deck off the back of the home with plenty of space and seating to enjoy all day long. The main deck by the living room has a small propane fire table along with a gas grill. Down below is another deck with additional seating and a porch swing. A chill spot for a hot toddy in the winter or nice glass of Rose’ as the sun goes down.
The cabin is located near the end of a dead-end road helping to keep the Simple Pleasures and surrounding area quiet and peaceful. We are a Certified Wildlife Habitat area and are so happy to be able to share this space and our love of nature with future guests. Our closest trail head which is 11 min away is Devils Nose Trail through Sleepy Creek Wildlife Management.
