Nestled in the Mt.Baker neighborhood of Seattle, the huge windows with incredible natural light combined with the tall shed ceiling creates a relaxing feel. The apartment is a top floor delight, (there are a set of interior stairs- noted in pics) with an artist studio below from which you may occasionally hear a muffled sound or two. With extra insulation and sheet rock, we built the apartment to be as soundproof and private as possible.
Enter from the alley, there is ample free street parking. Well lit at night and you are also welcome to enter from the front of the property if so desired. Keyless entry, motion detection lighting, and exterior Ring cam monitored by owners (primarily set off by neighborhood cats!)
Built as an open floor plan studio, there is a full kitchen, and ample storage in custom designed and built cabinetry. Every single item in the space is brand new: leather couch, table, chairs, rugs, bed, tv, washer dryer, etc.
The 50" smart tv is set on an easel so you can watch from the couch, table or bed with a simple repositioning of the base. High speed wifi keeps your streaming simple and fast so if you want to work, settle into the couch or pop your laptop on the table and away you go.
The kitchen includes oven, stove top, ventilation, large microwave, dishwasher and fridge. We supply salt, pepper, cooking oils, and spices, and with a grocery store a block and a half away, you can pick up whatever you'd like. Fresh home roasted coffee and organic cream are provided for your stay with multiple coffee brewing styles ready to go.
Brand new king size bed (memory foam, no springs) and clean, organic sheets with many choices for blankets make for a comfy rest. The bathroom has a shower and bathtub, full size washer and dryer, and adjustable heated floors. Turkish and standard towels provided.
Great climate control with on demand heat or air conditioning, and all the windows open with screens for fresh air cross ventilation.
All you need is here without feeling like you are staying in someone else's space.
