Welcome to Walloon Lake Hideaway Cottage! This 4 bedroom, 3 bath retreat sleeps 12 in 9 beds, ideal for relaxing family gatherings of any size. Steps from Walloon Lake Village’s fine dining and boutiques, it offers quick lake access across the street via stairs for swimming or kayaking.
We designed this peaceful cottage with your family’s comfort and connection in mind — a perfect blend of cozy charm and thoughtful spaces. Whether you're gathering in the spacious living room, enjoying coffee by the fireplace, finding a quiet moment on the porch swing, or roasting s’mores around the fire pit under the stars, there’s a place for everyone.
From the charming front porch you’ll step into a welcoming main floor living room with ample seating, cozy fireplace and smart TV. This flows into a fully equipped open kitchen and coffee bar. The dining area features two tables seating for 10. A bedroom with a double bed and full bathroom completes the main level.
Slide open the back doors to a covered back deck with a gas grill, mini fridge and picnic table, and a fully fenced yard with fire pit, games, and water gear including kayaks, life jackets and paddle boards.
Upstairs is custom-built for fun and comfort. The front suite has a King bed, bunk beds with privacy curtains, private bath, balcony, and ensuite coffee bar. Two more bedrooms — one with a King and private deck access, the other a kids’ dream room with bunks and tech touches — share a full bath and reading nook. Additional sleeping options are available with a day bed and sleeper sofa.
Enjoy a wide range of amenities including wifi, air conditioning, full laundry, and a game room featuring a full-size arcade machine, board games, and ping pong table.
Walloon Lake access is available across the road as featured in the pictures. There are steps down to the water and we do not have a dock. This access is best for launching our kayaks/paddle boards and swimming. The Walloon Village sandy beach is just a short walk away. If you have a boat the public boat launch is just a block away.
