Summary: The metro was very close and we were able to get anywhere that we wanted to go in the DC area easily. We didn't rent a car so this was important to us. The kitchen met our needs as we were able to make breakfast and dinner. We usually went out to eat for lunch but saved money by making some of our own meals at the apartment. There were plenty of dishes and cooking materials to use in the apartment. We stayed for 6 nights and had a great time. The apartment was small but perfect for two people. If you are unable to do stairs then I wouldn't recommend this apartment since it is on the third floor. We checked in and out easily using a lock box on the porch.
